Booking conditions

The reservation of any one of our tours entails the client’s full acceptance of the booking conditions.

Euridice Opéra is holder of license n° LI 013 96 98.
Euridice Opéra is insured against its responsibilities stated in the professional civil code by the company Generali France, 5 rue de Londres 75009 Paris, policy n° : 56.204.743.V and has a financial guarantee of 99 092 Euro auprès du LCL, 1 esplanade Compans Caffarelli, 31002 Toulouse cedex 6.

1- Booking
Bookings of any one of our tours must be accompanied by an initial deposit of 35 % the total price of the choosen tour with the balance to be paid within a maximum of 30 days before departure without a reminder notice. For all bookings made less than 30 days before departure the total price must be paid immediately.
The issuance of tour documents can only be effected following full payment of the corresponding invoice. In the case of non-payment the client is obliged to pay the annulation fees indicated within the present document.
2- Price
Our prices are established according to current economic conditions and the prices offered by the the different service providers over a six month period.
Any alterations of these conditions, such as the increase in the exchange rate, transport costs and/or musical performances could lead to a price change of which the client will be notified.
The prices include, moreover to the service costs included in each package, our company fees (intervention and profit margin).
Herein are inclusive costs, made up of the total cost of the service provided and costs that cannot be detailed by the organiser.
No protest as to these costs will be taken into consideration on the client’s return from the voyage. It is for the client to decide, before departure, whether or not the price is suitable.
3 - Insurance
Repatriation assistance is included in the price of our tours for residents of western Europe and cannot be deducted.
Insurance covering voyage cancellation, voyage interuption, and luggage is available as an option at the time of booking for French residents only. It is not included in the package costs. This insurance allows, under certain conditions (serious illness, serious accident), the reimbursement of the remainder of your cancellation fees.
A multi-risk travel insurance is available on request to French residents only at the time of booking. We recommend that you read attentively the entire insurance notice that is made available to you during your booking.
The insurance premiums and visa costs will under no circumstance be reimbursed. We advise those residing outside France (or western Europe for repatriation assistance) to take out travel insurance in their own country.
4 - Cancellation
All cancellations must be formalized by letter.
The client’s cancellation of his/her booking incurs the following fees:
- More than 30 days before departure: 60 Euros handling fees. Further to these fees the show seats (covered by the insurance to a maximum of 320 Euros per seat), as well as the cost of the flight tickets will also be added in the case where they are not reimbursable.
- Between 30 and 21 days before departure: 40% of the total cost of the voyage. Further to these costs the show seats (covered by the insurance to a maximum of 320 Euros per seat), as well as the cost of the flight tickets will also be added in the case where they are not reimbursable.
- Between 20 and 8 days before departure: 60% of the total cost of the voyage. Further to these costs the show seats (covered by the insurance to a maximum of 320 Euros per seat), as well as the cost of the flight tickets will also be added in the case where they are not reimbursable.
- Between 7 days and 2 days before departure: 80% of the total cost of the voyage. Further to these costs the show seats (covered by the insurance to a maximum of 320 Euros per seat), as well as the cost of the flight tickets will also be added in the case where they are not reimbursable.
- Less than 48 hours before depature: 100% of the total cost of the voyage.
The booking of any one of our Vienna New Year offers entails the client’s acceptance of the booking conditions particular to the Vienna New Year package.
In the event of cancellation by Euridice Opéra due to the exceptional circumstances of a force majeure, security or any other event beyond the control of the organiser, the client will be reimbursed the totality of the paid sum.
5- Changes and postponements
All requests for a change of booking can be considered up to the 30th day before departure accompanied by the payment of a sum of 50 Euros corresponding to handling fees.
Beyond the 30th day, all changes will entail the annulment of the contract followed by a new booking contract.
Before booking, Euridice Opéra reserves the right to change the content of the package as described in the brochure and in any other informational document, notably in the event of a surcharge imposed by a hotel or changes in the opera programmes.
After booking, Euridice Opéra reserves the right to alter the content of the services as stated in the corresponding contrat in the case where a major event or a third party member forces that change.
6- Tours shortened or modified
No interruption or abridgement of a voyage nor any unconsumed service of the overall package caused by the client, for whatever reason, will constitute a reimbursement.
Euridice Opéra will try to obtain the restitution of the unconsumed services from the relevant service providers in the event of voyage interrutpion or abridgement for imperious reasons not issuing from the client.
7- Responsibility
Euridice Opéra declines all responsability in the event of the cancellation or alteration of the performance programmes included in the tour as well as in the case of the unavailability or any other cause for the non-appearence of one or several artists.
Euridice Opéra will notify the client, without delay, of all changes in the services, programmes and/or the brochures, of which it is aware.
The changes in the departure or return times caused by air traffic, aircraft schedules, security reasons, loss of luggage, strikes or other disturbances, cannot be considered as just reason for compensation whatever the change in the length and conditions of the tour.
In the event of a change of airport, the corresponding transport costs incurred are the liability of the client.
For any failure in the upholding of the conditions of the contract to be taken into consideration, Euridice Opéra must be alerted within five days of the event by means of a letter sent on recorded delivery.
Euridice Opéra declines all responsibility if the client, following the non-presentation of travel documents (passport, visa, etc.) is unable to depart on the tour.
The company Euridice Opéra reserves the right to appeal against any failure of the client to present all the necessary administrative elements acting as prove as to the failure of the agent concerned to fulfil the obligations of the contract.
These agents are themselves entirely responsible towards the client concerning the services they have agreed to deliver.
The temporary closure of certain facilities and/or adverse weather conditions leading to the cancellation of certain activities and events charged to a third party for the delivery of services cannot be the responsibility of Euridice Opéra where no fault can be attributed to the latter mentioned company.
In the case where Euridice Opéra can be held liable for material and immateriel damages, the compensation due cannot exceed three times the total cost of the paid tour.
Euridice Opéra cannot be held responsible if the grievance of the client is a result of his/her own cause through negligence, or own will.
