Founded in 1997 by Gustav Kuhn, the Erl Festival takes place every year in July just 100 kilometres from Munich. Every summer, music lovers gather here to enjoy chamber music concerts, opera and Lieder evenings in the two halls dedicated to this event, which are true architectural and acoustic masterpieces.

The Festival takes place from 3 to 27 July 2025 and presents a popular triology by G. Verdi: La Traviata, Rigoletto and Il Trovatore. There will also be some excellent recitals featuring a number of soloists including Camilla Nylund, Alexandra Dovgan, Anita Rachvelishvili, Lucas Débergue, Helmut Deutsch and Alexander Malofeev.
