Salzburg
Pfingstfestspiele
The lagoon city of Venice was and is a place of longing! Its extraordinary location has inspired writers, painters and not least composers who have lived in, visited or dreamed of La Serenissima . The 2025 Salzburg Whitsun Festival, once again under the artistic direction of the great Cecilia Bartoli, pays homage to musical Venice and takes you through five centuries of compositional history from Monteverdi to Rossini, from Vivaldi to Verdi, from sacred music to opera, from concert to ballet. Look forward to atmospheric days in Salzburg’s most beautiful venues!

Sommerfestspiele
Summer in Salzburg means enjoying culture and nature in equal measure. Let yourself be enchanted by the charm and the special festival atmosphere on the banks of the Salzach in the midst of the charming mountain scenery and take a seat in the most famous venues.
With operas, concerts and plays, the Festival Weeks 2025 under Artistic Director Markus Hinterhäuser once again offer a wide-ranging programme. Experience the wonderful Lisette Oropesa in a new production of Donizetti's ‘Maria Stuarda’ and be mesmerised by Asmik Grigorian as Lady Macbeth. Of course, ‘Jedermann’ with Philipp Hochmair should not be missing from the Salzburg programme - nor should the top orchestras of the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonics with their charismatic maestros.
And if you would like to extend your summer dream by a few more sunny days: Please get in touch with us, because Salzburg and the fantastic landscape in the Salzkammergut with its numerous lakes, genuine hospitality and top-class cuisine are definitely worth a holiday.
